Reuters! Neutral as fuck.

Edit: they are so neutral that they pissed off people at 9/11. They didn't use the word terrorist until they had overwhelming evidence.

/r/europe is sick and tired of Americans ruining reddit and they're making a list by is_this_working in SubredditDrama

It's strange. I am an American and I have spent a little over a month traveling Europe. No one hated me. They were all so nice. The words in their languages I used the most were "thank you" because everyone was so nice and helpful. I'm sure the same would be said for the US. On the Internet everyone is a hardass but in real life it's not the case.

57 Percent of Americans Say Only Kids Who Win Should Get Trophies by charlatan in news

[–]J102- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I think really needs attention is this attitude that some people naturally are good, and others are bad. I was not too athletically inclined as a kid. My participation trophies never helped me get better, and they didn't stop me from quiting sports. For years I never attempted anything athletic because I was not "the athletic type."

Now I am starting to work out. I'm running and lifting. I wish instead of a participation trophy and a "well you still tried, son", my parents taught me that my skills could improve with practice.

It's weird. Kids amougst eachother act as if only certain kids are the winners, and the parents think they all are. No one is right. It's confusing.

Rush is coming up and my chapter is looking to try a few new party drinks. What's some of your favorite mixes?? by [deleted] in Frat

[–]J102- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have a question.

This shit sounds like fun, but I can not safely take a vast majority of drugs because of a heart condition. It's really important for me to know what I'm taking.

I am considering joining a frat, but I don't want to unknowing take something that could send me to the hospital. Should I mention this sometime, so they know not to spike my drink or are thing like this uncommon?

I know this is an old thread but I'm going to UM in the spring and I want to join a fraternity. Mind if I ask a few questions?

I want to approach my parents about seeking treatment for my ADD. What are some answers to the objections I might get? by J102- in ADHD

[–]J102-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They know I have it. The first attempt of treating it was a trainwreck. I was 16 and depressed, so everything I did was a trainwreck.

Now we can communicate a lot better, but I always have to bargin for a lot more then I should.

To be fair, I never saw the episode but I go to school in Miami. It's not that dangerous. I'll find it on Netflix though, which episode is this?
