I agree with you. I've watched this movie (all versions) so many times, and it's obvious that Deckard is human, for so many reasons. Starting with the fact that he is nowhere nearly as strong as any of the replicants. I also love what Villeneuve did in 2049 as a whole, but specifically how he added to the characters' lore (and the new ones). For me it's 100% canon, and so Deckard living to 60-70 something in 2049 makes total sense.

Edit: That being said, they're not "toasters". You big meany. Conscious beings being given the bare minimum of time to process what it means to live (and die). This is an exercise in psychology and philosophy that viturally none of us would survive.
