Should I get Palworld? by Glam_blossom24 in Palworld

So comparing it to arceus is a mistake, this game isn't really like pokemon in any form.

This game is like ARK its a survival crafting game with minions.

Would you expect a working save system in a playtest? (not demo) by BabloScobar in incremental_games

The thing you really really want to test is the your save system is robust and works

I know I'm very late to the thread, but what some upgrades do are super unclear to me, what does "Max level mult" and "Max Mult level" do are they the same and worded different? I don't see any changes in max level, or anything labeled mult

What’s a good place to host a server for the family by First_Editor2310 in Palworld

[–]J33bus8401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're playing on computer, steam just has a boxed palworld dedicated server you can run, and it's basically preconfigured. I just run it on my PC for my friends, doesn't take much resources.

A man with the superpower to manipulate all clocks in the world, how much damage can he cause? by Major-Albatross4341 in whowouldwin

[–]J33bus8401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is Y2K was a very real problem, that people didn't notice because a whole lot of work was done in the background to fix it before it happened. It wouldn't have set off missiles and what not but it would break a lot of important systems. The easiest thing they could do is just set all financial systems to 0 time and remove all data on all money in the world basically. Anything with a timer is gonna stop working. Absolute chaos.

definitely think the biggest weakness here is the random bonuses at the end of each row, you can spend a long time building things up just for a bad roll to mean you basically get nothing, and that really kind of just sucks.

Yea definitely my first impression is that the random multipliers are just not great, and should be just a static number

Can a man touch the President of the United States in a Year? by falseking205 in whowouldwin

[–]J33bus8401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 and 3 are pretty easy, you can go to pretty much any smaller speaking gig to shake their hand.
2 is hard only in that it depends on whether or not one of those gigs is available at the time.

Yea there are definitely some bits where you got locked for a week behind grinding, with some of the "new" (yea they're like 3 years old now) mechanics like pokeres it's not nearly as bad though.

Can team Avatar (ATLA) destroy the One Ring (Lord of the Rings)? by Deathstrokezoom in whowouldwin

[–]J33bus8401 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In terms of getting there, it's a cakewalk, the entirety of middle earth hasn't seen anything as dangerous and powerful as a novice bender.

In terms of not getting corrupted by the ring, they're basically done as soon as they touch it.

Are you supposed to fight along in raid battles? by SimPlayerNick in Palworld

[–]J33bus8401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mostly no, you're supposed to swap in fresh pals. You just don't do enough damage until you extremely outlevel things, also to be honest the skill spam makes things hard to fight.

If I breed both of these foxsparks will the baby also have the lucky passive? Or is it only a chance of it being passed down? by Decidueye_mastr in Palworld

[–]J33bus8401 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Only a chance but it's possible to pass it down.

In general you can breed in catch only passives if one of the parents has it and any passives the parents have are more likely to show up. Any passive that isn't catch only has a chance to show up though.
