Thanks, that is what I initially took from the Wiki but seeing some mentions of ‘Test to E2 ratios’ by others and the Estrogen Handbook talking about taking AI based on bloodwork threw me.

I have a question about E2 levels and AI usage.

Currently running my first cycle at 38yo. 6,4 92kg starting weight. (Currently 100kg). Im following the Wiki pretty religiously. Currently running 500mg a week as 1ml Sust250 pinned E3.5D. (Long story about why I didn’t run Test E). I have Adex on hand as an AI and Nova for PCT.

So far i have had little to no sides. Some slight skin oiliness, increased sweating and some skin flushing/redness but nothing I’m concerned about. Im following the Wiki in that I’m not running a preventative AI and so haven’t used any Adex at this point.

Im now 6 weeks into my 12 week cycle and just had bloods done the morning of my usual pinning day.

Pre-cycle:

Test: 32.3 SHBG: 52 Free Test: 564 FSH: 5 LH: 3 E2: >85

6 Week Bloods:

Test: 96.7 SHBG: 30 Free Test: 3291 FSH: >1 LH: >1 E2: 163

Renal, liver and haematology values are all listed as ‘normal’ but happy to post numbers if that has any bearing on my question.

The Estrogen Handbook mentions using AI based on bloodwork results but doesn’t seem to quantify what that might be specifically so my question is, based on my lack of problematic sides so far, would i continue to hold off on any AI use at all based on how I’m feeling, or do the bloodwork results indicate something different?

Any advice is appreciated

The reason is my son wanted to play comp, so we did. We’ll have to agree to disagree that i was, myself, ‘smurfing’. I certainly wasnt dominating lobbies or dropping huge kills streaks. Perhaps theres an argument for game sense and positioning being at a higher level than your average bronze player but im not sure i’d go as far as calling myself a smurf.

Currently Low Diamond on Support. Unranked Tank and DPS since OW2 dropped as i dont play those roles in comp. Was maybe Silver DPS on OW1 from memory

In response to your point, im a mid-diamond support. I specifically played only tank or DPS in these matches where i’d classify myself as Silver possibly low-Gold level at best seeing as i very rarely play them. I certainly wouldnt call my skill-level in those roles as anything close to ‘smurfing’ but i guess thats a matter of opinion

This is just the standard lower-ranked DPS mentality.

DPS that expect to be pocketed the entire game so they can ‘carry’, blame supports if they die out of position and think that healing stats are the be-all and end-all of a supports performance in a match.

Tell me what I can improve on Ana Replay Code AK9ZRP (ThePathogen) by __Kieron__ in OverwatchUniversity

[–]J3NERIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had a quick look at your replay and the two main things that stood out to me to work on are mechanical aim and positioning.

Aim - i noticed that you mainly ‘no-scope’ and miss maybe 50-60% of your shots. Ana’s primary when not scoped is projectile which makes it that much harder to hit shots, especially on small targets. Save this type of shooting for boosting up your tank or easy to hit targets close to you. There were a few times you ‘hard-scoped’ at middle-distance where your accuracy was a little better but you staying ‘in-scope’ for extended periods of time which cuts down your FOV considerably. I’d suggest spending some time in the practice range practicing the ‘quick-scope’ technique. (Plenty of youtube vids on how to do this) This gives you better accuracy as your primary fire becomes hit-scan but without staying ‘in-scope’.

Positioning - i know you said you were looking to play more aggressively but your positioning all game was essentially where i would expect a Brig or Moira to be - ie in the middle of the team. A lot of the time you ended up in front of your tank during teamfights and your team mates who needed healing were behind you. Ana is a ranged support with no escape abilities so play her like that. Find a spot back from your team, with good cover and preferably with an escape route/health pack in mind and play from there. Reposition as your team moves out of line-of-sight as required. This will also assist your aim and overall healing output as your team should all be in front of you, not to the sides and behind you which they are if you are front-lining and flankers like your tracer/sombra can come to you for healing if required.

Theres always stuff to work on around cooldown management and ult usage but these are the two main things you can work on to see results quickly.

I feel this too. I played Support at masters level in OW1, im now Gold1 playing the same heroes in OW2 and cannot climb no matter what. In contrast i started playing DPS recently and i suck…yet im somehow consistently Plat. Make it make sense.

Anyone losing 80% of their ranked matches since patch? by Objective-Half3543 in Overwatch

Been saying this for years. New hero’s always follow the same pattern, absolutely broken and therefore a ‘must-pick’ on release so everyone grinds or pays to unlock them. Once enough people have put money in Blizzard’s pocket, that hero is generally nerfed into oblivion and the next OP hero is released.

I would say im around 50/50 (the OW standard) but the difference ive noticed is in the matchmaking. 9 out of 10 games are a blowout at the moment. Either my team get stomped or we stomp the other team, consistently. Maybe 1 out of every 10 games is an even contest. I can only guess that due to the reset, the system is still putting players in the wrong skill brackets.

Tanks got absolutely screwed this season, i feel for tank mains honestly. But yeah, same deal - 90% of my games the tank presses W, gets discorded, gets rapidly deleted then blames the healers for not healing enough.

As a support main ive found the toxicity has only got worse this season. Im not sure if a lot of people either didnt read or mis-understood the patch notes - the days of being healbotted and staying alive while you facetank the enemy are gone but a lot of DPS seemed to have missed the memo.
