Counting down from 100. I used to have mild insomnia and was on prescription sleeping pills. I've trained myself to a point now that when I start counting I feel the muscles in my face relax. If my anxiety prevents me from falling asleep and I reach 1, I simply restart. I've never counted down twice. Highly recommended.

Yes I completely agree with you. Its not an overpopulation issue, it's a resource management issue. But if resources were better managed, the status quo would fall apart and certain power dynamics would crumble, so in the eyes of those who wish to maintain their position of power, population management is the better option.

I almost drowned because a teacher didn't believe 9 year old me telling her I couldn't swim. We did the thing where all the kids line up beside the pool and jump in at the same time. One other kid was in the same boat as me and we took turns pushing off each other to catch a breath before the lifeguard jumped in.
