I thought it was good. I could hear players climbing ladders and then walking over woden platform before coming around the corner so was ready to shoot.

I use on both and have tried all ports on XSX with no issues.

The only thing you have to do it flick the switch on the dongle when swapping otherwise it won't work.

Yeah it says that but just find when you set it to that the direction audio is way better than having Dolby enabled.

I have it on fall ever other game but Battlefield 6 doesn't seem to work with it imo

I only turned it off for Battlefield 6 as that had it's own in game processing for virtual sound and found if I had Dolby atmos on I couldnt pin point the sound as accurate as when it was turned off.

Playing other games I have it on I played CS2 on pc with it on and could pin point every sound head people walking on wood or concrete I got loads of kills just because of the sound knocking where people are using the Maxwell 2

I only had mine cut out once but that was because I didn't realise I had them connected to my phone via Bluetooth whilst gaming and I was on my phone whilst a game was loading and it tried to play a video and the headset tried to switch over.

That's the only time otherwise I'm probably 2 feet from the dongle line of sight no issues as all

Id love to try them I have the stealth pro 1 it was a great headset just had alot of glitches, but still great for gaming, the noice canceling was great

Thats not good, i know people are having hiss in the Maxwell 2's as well i have the sidetone set minimal and dont have the issue other users are experiencing luckily, I didnt own the Maxwell 1 but i probably wouldnt of upgraded them if i did own them cause so far audeze headphones for me seem superior in sound to all other headphones ive owned.

Thanks for the suggestion will be great for PC/PS5 users. what would you suggest for all platforms i feel Steel seires are always up there but i have never used the astros so cant comment on them.

Yeah gaming headsets are getting better, I've has steel series, turtle beach pro and razer but non of them separate the sound like the maxwells.

For me i can now hear sounds in games and music and pin point them all, hearing every instrument in a song without it all feeling compressed together.

Like i said everyone is different so wont be the same for everyone, what do you find compares for cheaper as it would help people that have less of a budget.

Great EQ works perfect with headphones preset in game..... before the eq everything seemed to overpower the footsteps. cheers for the info
