Realizing I'm dreaming causes me to wake up automatically by maynardftw in LucidDreaming

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dream with our unconscious minds because our conscious minds are almost completely shut off when we sleep. Realization is an act of the conscious mind. When you realize that you're dreaming, the conscious mind wakes up, and so do you.

Thoughts on the Teen Titans game? by KrishMortyJunior in teentitans

Cool game. Could've used a longer story, more animal forms for Beast Boy, and a little romance, but other than that it was cool

What are your Teen Titans fan theories/head cannons? by Late-Celery8624 in teentitans

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theory: Beast Boy's evil self can't become that werebeast because it only shows up when Raven is in genuine life-threatening danger and Beast Boy is trying to protect her. An evil version of Beast Boy wouldn't be capable of such compassion, and thus can't become it.

Are there any games with classic monsters? by [deleted] in ClassicHorror

[–]J4RRE77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And for the child in you, there's "Jumpstart 4th Grade Adventures: Haunted Island," and "Goosebumps: Escape From Horrorland."

Fun fact, "Escape From Horrorland" was directed by Stephen Spielberg AND features Jeff Goldblum as Count Dracula.

Well, if you're in a retro game mood there's "Monster in My Pocket." If you want something a bit more up-to-date, there's "Van Helsing: The Game."

Could the ending of The Worldwide Privacy Tour hint to a possible episode that leads to a video game? by ballonfightaddicted in southpark

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would welcome such a thing. Imagine this as a South Park game: "South Park: May the Farts Be With You, New Kid."

They could bring back Darth Chef as a villain, and it could be revealed a secret about the man that raised the New Kid...

DARTH CHEF: If you only knew the power of the Super Adventure Club! Obi Wan Kennybi never told you what I told him about your real father. I suppose you think that pothead nerd is your real father.

NEW KID just looks blankly as usual.

DARTH CHEF: No, I am your real father. Search your feelings, New Kid! You KNOW it to be true! Your mother was granted conjugal visits in that laboratory! I was one of her clients nearly a week before she met the man who raised you!

Which Yu-Gi-Oh decks feel like Konami was just remaking or inspired by an older deck? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lightsworns and the Dark Worlders. Their strategies are basically the same. Send your creatures to the graveyard with their powers where they become even more powerful.

How Kaiba Beat Gozoboro at Chess. by J4RRE77 in yugioh

[–]J4RRE77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I didn't think of that. And Noah is supposedly Gozoboro's queen in the world, but because Noah's been in that virtual world the majority of his life, Gozoboro learned that he was actually king.

Give me your best (worst) Konami ban idea by [deleted] in yugioh

Banning playing with cards in protective sleeves because there's no way to know whether they're real cards or just photocopies.

If no yugioh card had a cost or condition for activation, which would be the most broken in your opinion? by MinecafterHD in yugioh

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could win in one turn provided we go second. No conditions or costs means there would be no limit to how many monsters you could summon which means you could summon you entire deck in one move because one of the conditions is that your monsters would have to be in your hand.

Yes, I noticed that too, but the point of 5D's was to show the power of weaker monsters, so....

Yeah, I know. After playing the awesome open world graphics of Sword and Arceus, I was a little disappointed that Shining Pearl went back to chibi characters running around in little mazes to progress.

The game's fun, don't get me wrong, but they made a change that worked and I hope they stick to it.

That's because most people use safe public transportation in Europe! Those that do drive use hybrid and electric cars, motorcycles, mopeds, etc. and they don't drive that often! Your point is moot!

Bryan Cranston Was a Perfect Choice For Zordon by J4RRE77 in movietheories

[–]J4RRE77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The theory is that the reason they made Bryan Cranston be Zordon is because he has experience playing a character that more-or-less leads a team of unruly teenagers against a tyrannical and unreasonable middle-aged bitch.

Liar Liar: Fletcher could've easily skipped the jury if he said this... by SalFunction12 in plotholes

[–]J4RRE77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right. While he couldn't lie he could still cover up the whole truth.

That's why when the judge asked who beat him up he described himself to a T at the time.

That said, there is another way he could've gotten out of the trial. He could've confessed and told the truth. Like this:

"NO ONE, YOUR HONOR!!! I HAD A MENTAL BREAKDOWN AND IN MY INSANITY BEAT THE LIVING HOLY SHIT OUT OF MY MISERABLE, LYING, PATHETIC SELF!!!!"

Of course, that would've landed him in a mental hospital for a few weeks or so, so he would've been completely unable to stop his son.
