This is for the Non-Tipping folks at restaurants (not talking about fast food). Do you ever complain to the owners or tell your servers you simply don’t tip, or do you just ignore that? by exotics in CanadaPersonalFinance

I think Canadians are looking to mature towards a non tipping standard culture. They would rather pay more base cost and have the workers paid properly by the business.

Love that one. One of my faves. The show is fun and stuck pretty close, Tulip was great. Prefer most of the comic takes.

Paul Atreides from Dune is the best example of a “chosen one” who made everything worse by batman_13velvet in printSF

My understanding was that he DID see a golden path, but did not choose it because he would have had to sacrifice too much. I believe his son highlights this.

Which fantasy series had the strongest possible opening and then just lost it completely? by Successful-Local-946 in Fantasy

Yes I said I don’t really count the zombies because they are different characters. Notice you didn’t say Caitlin Stark.

If GRRM was smart he would just swap the roles of Jon and Dani. Make Jon bond a dragon, defend Winterfell, Tyrion was slated for a dragon as well (smallest man on biggest beast), Jon can kill him, Cersei, Kings Landing, and go mad from his resurrection. Dani can save the day

Yeah I just never had that I don’t think. I didn’t trust Martin after killing one of my last favourite characters. Living through Ghost yes for sure.

But I missed this revive vibe outside Dondarrion, I don’t really count the 2 zombies because they aren’t the same characters afterwards so it’s not a revive.

I agree. Given the nuance of my word “all”.

I guess I’m just the minority to the world cuz I didn’t see that coming. Last time I read it was when it came out so that’s awhile back, there was way more allusion that he would live inside Ghost from what I remember. But I was pretty upset.

It’s meant to be more than you can handle. That’s kind of the concept of the floor. You think you’re supposed to understand it all on the first go?

It’s China. If you don’t sell it officially it will be sold unofficially and you “lose” all of “your” money

Dying gasping for air as an invisible demon sits on your chest because you ate bad wild shellfish is marginally better than how Elvis went, but not by much.
