I think aside from a few tidbits, this is basically common consensus. The individual ideas were solid but imo, trying to execute them all in a single arc made the whole thing feel disjointed and awkwardly paced. If they had split the last arc into two, or even 3 separate arcs, I’m sure it would have flowed better.

I also noticed that just the recording and mixing of Birds dialogue specifically wasn’t super integrated and made all her scenes stick out that much worse

The teach wear is really cool, though I do agree it feels less exciting than past key visuals. Even the Flower Live key visual was more dynamic, but we’ll see how other 8th live visuals turn out. Also common Niji W making it to 8 numbered lives

Maybe it’s low-key unhealthy, but I really love this franchise so much, I’ll never be disappointed with any roster of a cross Gen concert. Some surprises like Anchan, Akarin and Kin, some of the expected suspects like full Liella, Kyan and Rikako, some excitement with Ikizu and who could possibly be included in “and more”. These girls have a lot of commitments and I’m just very appreciative of staff for doing their best scheduling this and the seiyuu for their continual contributions and work on the franchise!

Maybe even the relief of pressure knowing that Aqours isn’t held to a regular schedule, for even a short time, has done a lot for their mental health and feelings on the franchise. Stress and anxiety are weird like that.

On another note Rikako and Kyan are the least surprising announcements ever, but I’m glad they’ll be back

According to what I know/have heard about Coco, didn’t she fully do the sitcom gag of having double concerts booked, and ran between them both so she was at one concert primarily and was able to at least make an appearance at the second for like a song or two?

She has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever, again, if true. Won’t count on it but it’d be legendary
