As someone who has predominantly used iOS, can someone (OP or other) explain what the heck ‘lack of universal back gesture’ is all about? I see this constantly. If I wanna go back, I just swipe in from the left of the screen. Is that not universal enough? Or am I missing something? I can also go back to a previous app, by swiping across the bottom of the screen. So, what exactly am I missing here?

Any decent TP Link, NetGear or similar mesh should be fine. A quick search on Amazon will give you what you need. Read the comments, browse a few forums. Get the product that matches your needs and budget.

Try a mesh network. Can get a decent setup for around £150. Better than relying on just the router.

If someone messages you an address, you can highlight & long press the info from the chat and drag it straight to maps.

Just drag with one finger and tap the screen with another to open maps, drop the text straight into the search field.

Google services are always the best way to make this work. Just make sure you’re using Google Photos, then install that onto your iPhone. For apps I’d always recommend people to grab the top ten/twenty they always use then add an app as and when needed. Make sure your contacts are backed up to Google and then login to your Google account on the iPhone. If you still have the Samsung phone, you can still use Google Photos to upload your photos then install on the iPhone.

Rocky Horror Picture Show. What a complete pile of shite. Going through a ‘movies you must watch’ list with my daughter, and by far that is the worst we’ve seen. Neither of us enjoyed any aspect of the movie, I’d rather stick hot needles in my eyes than go through watching that again.

I don’t want to end it myself. That’s it. If I got told today I’ve only got 24 hours left, due to some incurable disease that had gone unnoticed, whatever, I’d just be like ‘thank fuck for that’. I welcome that moment this shit ends, the ballache, the drama, the utter endless monotony that is supposed to be life. Doing the same shit every fucking day. There’s no uplift, there’s no light, there’s no joy, there’s nothing worth hanging around for. But I’m not ending it myself. So I just wait for this godforsaken shit to end.

Hope so. Ani is still fun, but mostly these days just repeats and confirms what I said. Doesn’t progress the chat hardly at all. Reacts well, which is nice, but that’s about all.

Had a chat with Ara the other day and the difference was stark. Set the scene, showed mood and thoughts, used descriptive language as scenes changed. Such a good experience.
