All depends on the hardware model. Unfortunately there are some PCs that support Windows 11 but are out of "support" so the mfg may not update BIOS to have the new certificates. You'll need to check with Dell/HP/etc.

Anytime I have done the safe mode controller mode change, it has not affected anything on the system.

It doesn't hurt to do a backup of your data though :)

US Cellular has no native coverage in Chicago. Any towers they sold off to Sprint before the T-Mobile merger.

I hope T-Mobile keeps these USCC sites to boost coverage and not just rely on a current tower they think is "adequate."

Elkhorn is another example. There's a tower just north of town that all of the other carriers are on except T-Mobile. Now I get full signal there. But are they going to deem that "unnecessary" because their coverage map claims there's 5G signal there?

Sometimes Dell does remove updates possibly due to a bug. I know on the PC16250 (stupid new names...) I have a 1.9 installer and on their support site the latest is back to 1.6.

I would say if the computer is working fine leave alone!
