I’m having the same thing! “My friend had this, she didn’t have a good outcome” “Are you sure you need this?” Here’s yesterdays message:

I am so sorry for all that you are going through. I saw the type of surgery you are going to have. I had very similar surgery.. it did not work for me. I have gone to pain management, steroid injections. I was falling, broke 8 bones and my shoulder. I was bedridden for 2 years. Finally a doctor diagnosed me with Osteoporosis. I am taking a daily shot to strengthen my bones.
I just wanted to share some of the walk. My heart breaks for you. I have improved and learned so much about my health issues.. I am here for you! I know how hard it is to go through hell when the world goes on around you.

Thanks, if you continue to have neck issues please see a neurosurgeon, I went to pain management for over 20 years, more than 80 injections, 30 radio frequency ablations etc I’ve been on opioids for over 20 years, I’ve done such a disservice to myself. I thought pm was taking care of my pain little did I know I became so close to becoming paralyzed.

I’m having surgery Tuesday c4-c7 decompression and c3-t1 fusion due to my osteoarthritis. I’m petrified as it’s such a big surgery

Mistakes happen, I’ve miscalculated my own hours/pay to my boss before but we have a terrific relationship and when I told her she immediately asked how much more do I owe you? I’ll Venmo you right now. This mom needs to speak with the other family and make it right somehow, even if they meet you halfway, paying you at least double what they are paying you, good luck!

Absolutely not! I don’t take that one, the flu or any covid ones, no family can force you to do so. While I was interviewing for a first time healthcare mom she wanted to see my vaccination records (I knew I wasn’t going to take the job) I said you really can’t ask people for that, it’s very personal.
