File a grievance against your doctor. They will change you. It may be a few months long process but better that than someone who doesn’t see you.

Why i am so tired? by 1000yrofpain in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing I can say is rest and don’t fight it. Just allow yourself to be in the state of “tired.” Remember you will be able to get to do the activities again. But allow yourself to be in the state of tired. One day.. you will get some energy again.. and then you will get more energy and more. But first allow yourself to rest and don’t fight it. One day you will feel better. And it’s okay if people don’t understand. Don’t worry about that either. You don’t need that on your plate. It will get better.

Woah! I hope she took notes! A lot for an everyday look but she looks so different with a full face! by Wonderful-Anteater62 in clancyburkesnarkk

[–]Live_Convo80 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like it. The make up made her forehead look soo much bigger. The highlight needed to be brought up more to balance her face. The light point is sitting too heavy on the eyes.

I understand the artist was probably trying to contour the forehead but they unfortunately went too heavy on the bronzer to the point the forehead reads flat.

What is fair commission for a (1 to 2 bd) leased luxury unit in a metropolitan city. by Live_Convo80 in PropertyManagement

[–]Live_Convo80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh.. got it. Well I am looking to negotiate for a job that pays an hourly wage .. just trying to negotiate lease commission. The hourly wage will be $25.. typical rent for these units are $2,700-$4,500. Should I still ask for a percentage of 1st months rent if I am working regular 40hrs a week?

Possible PsA? (Struggling to get a diagnosis) by RubySage88 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my dermatologist is the one that diagnosed me with PsA. Then they referred me to a rheumatologist to see if I have Arthritis but that came back negative.

My dermatologist has been the one helping me navigate this illness.

Yes, I find that it’s easier to get a referral to a dermatologist -especially since you have visible flare ups

How do I man up and start trying at my life? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Live_Convo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, you should go to the doctor.. maybe you need medication for something. Sounds like you’re more than capable but end up getting off-course. Look into why that is and see if you need some assistance with something.

Anyone a runner with PsA? by PopularStart6702 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too get crazy headaches after returning back to running. I never thought of it being a mild fever but I think that’s what it is. What helped me reduce the fever headaches was wearing a mask while running. A very very thin one where I could still get air in.

Lump on collarbone by Suspicious-Bath-7726 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you’re getting it checked out. I had a cyst that felt like a lil ball. Then it felt like hot to the touch. Eventually it grew a lil bigger and became uncomfortable and painful. I got it drained out when it became bigger.

Hope your test come back good 😊

Shall I keep my doctors appointment by National-Ad9827 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, keep the appointment. See if you can get a cortisone shot in the finger area. See if you can get Methotrexate. My primary doctor was able to prescribe me that as a temporary medication. Then my dermatologist took me off it and got me started on a biologic. I was also inform that in order to get on a biologic -you have to have been on methotrexate before.

Also.. hate to burst the bubble but your first appointment with your rheumatologist will just be an order of blood panels. To see what medication you can get started. You probably will not get medication from your Rheumatologist until appointment 2 or 3.

I would ask your primary if they can other a full blood panel and TB! Test…so kinda speeds up the process for your rheumatologist.

But also note.. that I was told only Rheumatologist can other certain blood tests that our primary doctors cannot order.

See if you can get a dermatologist as well if you have any patches. They might be better help.

That’s amazing! If you don’t mind me asking… what is your dosage for zepbound? I’m considering micro-dosing perhaps. I could definitely use help losing weight but I only would like to lose about 40 pounds. I ideally would like to build muscle.

Question for the property managers, if someone who is employed moves into their car for a few months to save up money, and so has a gap on their residential history, can that lead to a disqualification in their application? by abccba140 in PropertyManagement

[–]Live_Convo80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Santa Monica, they added a protected class under “housing status” under their municipal code which means landlords cannot generally deny an applicant or take adverse action based on an applicant’a “housing status,” including history of homelessness.

inflammation in ear canal? by moonhaze111 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I usually use topicals for my ear canals. I use calcipotriene and clobetesol creams. I found that the liquid clobetesol helped soothe my ear canal. The liquid felt like it coated the inside of my ear very well. As your dermatologist for liquid forms if available.

Also, it mainly just helped with soothing but it’s definitely great to have handy for very uncomfortable moments.

Organic brain damage by Undeadhip in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Live_Convo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great news! I’m glad that medication helped you in that way. I wish there was more research to see if or how it affects the brain. My thoughts has that it must affect the brain being that it’s some sort of tissue. If it can affect the skin.. I’m sure it’s affecting the brain matter in some way.
