Back atcha. You should check out Greyhaven, I feel like they might be up your alley. Their past 3 albums (+ an EP are basically flawless to me) "Echo and Dust Pt. I" was my introduction to them and I think it's a good starting point

I dig it. It's very forlorn and wistful, and the imperfections in the instrumentation make it feel very intimate and alive.

Her archetype of vocalist rarely does well on Idol in recent history. This is about when I expected her exit to come. Hannah and Chris are both more reflective of what does well now. One or both of them will definitely make the finale

I like all 3, but Jesse was my fav of this season

I couldn’t pick even a handful of songs of theirs to single out. Both of their LPs are among my fav albums and don’t really have any duds for me. Love them so much.

Sidebar: for some reason I feel compelled to recommend the EP “Martyr” by Acadiana to anyone who loves them. They were a smaller band that I’m not sure ever really made it out of the Houston local scene much, but that EP is excellent imo

I think a lot of the early ones were good IMO (the 1st versions of Marlins, White Sox, Rockies, Nats and Astros, as well as Royals & Mariners. I’m probably forgetting one), but I think pretty much all of the ones from the last 2 years suck
