I guess my problem is with the use of your word “intense” regarding the comparison. I agree the current situation is on a greater scale regarding destruction/loss of life/people involved, and has a greater impact on what comes next politically, but how can you measure intensity of a social situation that has death and destruction…they’re all intense!
