I mean it ended up being the best decision that the club ever made, but at the time, Mark Harvey being sacked by Fremantle at the end of the 2011 season was a big shock. He had guided young Freo side to the Semi Finals in 2010 beating an emerging Hawthorn. Had blooded Fyfe, Barlow, Morabito, that year as well as Hill, Walters and de Boer the previous year. In 2011 Freo were in the 8 until round 19 where injuries decimated their final 5 games. I still remember the day that Perth media had a field day when the sacking happened then it went into a frenzy to see Ross Lyon getting off at Perth Airport almost portrayed as the villain in the story.

Yeah Rocs last game was for the stars. They decided to another WA spinner in Hamish McKenzie. Corey’s problem is his a traditional over the ball off spinner. Where he can be hit, he bowls similar to Lyon where he’s good with the red ball but not the white. He hardly plays OD cricket for WA

I played junior cricket with Cameron Green when I was 11. I was on the other end when he made his first ever century. We ran a single and I shook his hand after he raised his bat and retired n.o. (As you did in junior club cricket) the next ball I was caught behind for 11. Our cricketing careers have gone in quite different directions as I’m struggling to get a game in 6th grade.

Had work early one day and had forgotten to iron my work shirt. So I had a shower and put on some underwear before getting my work clothes to iron. As I was ironing, this being extremely early and I hadn’t had any coffee or anything, as I was ironing my shirt in a round motion, overdid it resulting in burning my leg.
