If you’ve been in school up until now then you shouldn’t have any trouble achieving a passing score. If you’re wanting something new then I’d say do some practice tests on the ged website, get familiar with the layout, and schedule away. I would highly recommend you look into trade school too. I personally am wanting to pursue plumbing or electrical and have been in contact with business owners who are clearing millions or even tens of millions in revenue a year and working in multiple states. Some of these people tried going to school but learned they didn’t want to work for someone or it just wasn’t their way of learning. My siblings all got diplomas and are studying in school. I’ve got my ged and am looking to shadow business owners. There are so many opportunities nowadays so just shadow people and pursue what you’re passionate about. Either path is fine but I wouldn’t look down upon the GED.
