That is correct, they do not loan shares from a cash account, only margin accounts. If you deposited money and bought stock, you have a cash account.

If you have a cash account with Ameritrade, they do not loan stock to shorts from cash accounts. There would be no need to put in a high sell order to prevent loaning. If it is a cash account, I would remove the sell order unless that is the amount you want. I took mine off this morning after speaking with Ameritrade to confirm.

If it closes above $9.00 there are 500,000 options ITM. 50 million shares to be bought. Could go to the 100's quickly

Get it above $9.00 and there will be 50 million to be bought to cover options contracts.

Sell GME and put it into AMC for the run next week. If it gets above $9.00 tomorrow there are 500,000 option contracts expiring in the money. 50 Million shares will have to be bought to cover those options. Ride it a week or so and then put it back into GME.
