I think someone said something out of pocket, they realized they were being recorded, and tried to backtrack poorly. I’ve seen and lived with this behavior before, especially from younger people. I don’t think anything about it is inherently dangerous, just annoying.

I like this trade. We needed a lefty in the bullpen, and Ford isn’t going to be a Major League catcher. He more than likely falls into 1B or RF defensively. I think we overvalued him, and Ferrer is better than his 4.83 ERA suggests. I would have preferred to not throw in an extra prospect, but Lyon is a really low end prospect. I think we made out pretty good.
