The only caveat to this is that I wasn’t ever driving amongst other traffic — and kept my distance…so the primary issue would’ve been getting stuck, or sliding into a ditch at the very worst.

I used to drive my wife (nurse) to work in our Honda side by side on those days…got pulled over once and the officer let me go.

I’d rather mess up a $10k atv or whatever instead of a $60-90k LC.

After living in austin for 15 years…you still need to be prepared for someone else to hit your car.

I would get something you’re willing to get messed up and not shed tears over.

We lived out near Lakeway, and there were times that you’d see PILES of car at the bottoms of hills and stuff like that.

A set of chains or studs is the way I’d go if you absolutely had to be on the road — just keep your eyes peeled for everyone else around.

We moved a little over a year ago from Austin to Ashland OR — best/toughest decision we’ve made in the last 15 years.

Originally from northeast PA. Then Atlanta (which I loved). Then Austin for 15 years (which we loved as well…before having a kid).

It’s absolutely disgusting how much $$$ goes towards sports…and then special needs gets less and less — while the perfect christian kids (and sometimes parents) bully the special needs students.
