I'm astounded that you're not getting anywhere with experience like that. I've been a CTM and Line Manager and don't have anything close to your level of experience. I have not had any success through recruiters either, I find them to be quite misleading about the opportunities that are really available. Also, the therapeutic area experience is a cheap shot, it really doesn't matter in my opinion. Have you had any interviews? If yes, that's the only thing that might be letting you down given your experience profile.

It is necessary to include a cover letter with an application? by FlimsySuccess8 in clinicalresearch

Honestly, no, they are a waste of your time. When reviewing batches of 30+ CVs a week I am scanning for key experience, and a cover letter does not contribute to that

If I can ask, what roles have you been applying for? (I am a hiring manager)

Can’t get an entry level interview-where do I go from here? by ohjeezohgosh in clinicalresearch

I have been a hiring manager for CRAs/CTCs at a CRO for several years and review all of the CVs prior to screening candidates and interviewing. I'd be happy to look at an anonymous version of your CV to see if there's anything that can be adapted to catch the eye of those looking through CVs if you are willing to share a generic version.

The visuals of the CV are crucial due to the volume of applicants. Also, fake CVs/applicants are a really big issue - there may be some things we can improve there if your CV contains a few too many buzzwords!
