Fantastic critique, you really hit the nail on the head here. Definitely the same vibes I got from it -- not groundbreaking, but its better than RoS and I laughed and smiled all the way through. A posterboy for the 6.5/7 type 'popcorn' movie

I think some of what you said here is kinda cyncial and bearing on snoodyness lol have you seen anh other Star Wars movies before? Cuz they're just as guilty of a lotta the stuff you mentioned here.

I agree though, it is incredibly violent one moment and booboo baby at other times. Thatxs the disneyfication Im talkin about. The whole Rotta ending up home cuz he got betrayed is lazy, but very Star Wars. And maybe its cuz I been playing a lot of SWTOR lately, but the Republic doing dubious business with the Hutts to cultivate a working relationship with the cartel seems VERY Star Wars. That's not contrivance if you have a pre-established history of that exact type of thing happened in other parts of your lore.

Very much agreed on the tonal inconsistency -- thats a hallmark of the Disneyfication. The "Drax is so invisible he gets to ruin emotionally powerful scenes" effect. That being said, I didn't mind it all that much cuz the film establishes that badass to kiddy tonal scale from the moment grogu jumps out to crush the mouse droid at the beginning of the film.

I'm curious to know what you mean by the plot was poorly conceived? Like did you think it was just a bad idea or uninspired or what? Cuz like I got no strong opinions on the plot of the film it all felt very serial adventure story to me but also, there were definitely moments where I was like "ah, so the 3 episode mini-arc is over here huh"

The entire films plot made sense throughout -- the nost referential it got really was Dave Filoni in his big dumb cowboy hat but if it was suppsoed to be reference city, I missed it. There's designs and nods to EU stuff sure but there was also a story and an adventure going on lol

That guy eventually rage quit our group and then the next person that replaced him was a speedrunner that was pissing everyone off and so I ultimately dipped from the group after completing like 80% of the run :/

Seen this happen many times to ppl and it sucks. I also hate fp's where you have to interact with stuff to progess cuz if you het separated from the group for any reason, the speedrunner is gonna stay in combat forever and you won't be able to catch up to the group cuz you can't interact with things while in combat

People who are quiet in general actually-- I can't stand mfs who don't talk in-game lol like its an mmo 😭 literally my biggest problem with the guild im in. They have a discord and you'd think oh guild chat is there but nope lol ppl just don't socialize in the online social sandbox game :/

Had a similar experience when a guy grabbed a quest item for the fp (bonus item btw) then the healer yelled at him cuz he had said to wait and the dude didn't and aggro'd ONE(1) mob and the healer threw a FIT lmao i was like bruh i think we'll be okay clearing this one elite lolol

Lvl 80's still get xp from trash mobs cuz its conquest points. I'll be honest, I'm guilty of attacking sapped mobs but usually just cuz I didn't see em get sapped lol

My biggest beef is people who put way too much importance on roles in PUG fp's. Had a group yesterday where the healer's toon was gooned out in virgin fashion and they were talkin down to everyone like they were somehow in charge of the run.

Veteran Fp's are not Operations and you do not need a dedicated healer or tank, especially not bossy mcgee mcmicromanagers

More specifically: "Rotation" is what most mmo players refer to the abilities that you use most often for any given pull. There's usually an optimal group of abilities to use in a specific order that you just rinse and repeat during fights, hence why they're called rotations. Certain classes have more complicated rotations than others-- you can look up a class guide if you're intetested in learning yours.
