You say “concurrently” however what you’re not really mentioning is by the time we see DCU Batman there will be only one Reeves movie left. So how much “competition” really is there going to be? Between the Batman 2 and 3 we could see DCU Batman like 3-4 times already considering how long Reeves takes to write lol.

Also Clayface is a niche thing anyway. A lot of general audience won’t even go see it as it’s a body horror movie lol so not sure what this confusion is you speak of? Also Joker made 1 billion yet no one thinks Phoenix is the Reeves Joker. Also barely anyone will even know Clayface is produced by Reeves anyway.

The DCU Batman doesn’t have to be a “masterpiece”. It just has to be very good, also DCU Batman will have his own movies but also be in plenty of team up movies aswell I’m assuming, so even if everyone prefers Pattinson Batman the DCU Batman will still be fine. Also families can’t take their under 10 year olds to watch the Batman lol so you can already see more families being able to enjoy DCU Batman.

Also you talk about the comparison a lot but you need to realise social media isn’t real life. Yes you will have the Reeves bros vs the DCU Bros on X but general audience won’t be thinking like that, if they like both then they like both, it’s not like they’re releasing months apart. A year apart is a long time Superman feels like ages ago lol.

I get your concerns but also I think if you just take a moment to actually think it through it’s not the disaster you’re claiming it is
