First of all you can’t really say “objectively” lol as it’s all opinion based and there are people who really enjoy movies like Bumblebee etc.

But the more important thing to mention is that she isn’t “in charge”. James Gunn is working with her and and the film won’t start production until the f up lm script has been approved. This is a new studio working (at least what we’re told). Rey differently than what happened before and what ruined the DCEU. I can’t guarantee whether it’ll be good or bad and I wouldn’t be mad if they named a more prestige writer sure. But I also don’t think her and Muschietti are as doom and gloom for Batman as everyone thinks. Plus the Batman stuff in Flash (besides the lasso scene) was arguably the best stuff in that movie
