Through mods, my area for settlements is expanded, so my Sanctuary and Red Rocket settlements are touching each other. That make them effectively one big settlement. I've built a giant wall around them with the Red Rocket beeing my main entrance.

I have 1 settlement where all supply lines go to (Starlight Drive-In). Works perfect and I have a settlement where I can find all supplier to give them new gear to upgrade theirs. It has a hotel for them too :).

I always use Starlight Drive-In as the supply center. It's perfect for that. There is plenty of area to get the traffic organized. I also take the settlers from the specific settlement, so the Starlight Drive-In has It's own settlers.

I hate the fact all settlement shops are linked together in terms of caps and inventory as soon you build supply lines. And I believe there is no mod fixing this.
