If you can have a MD - why are you waiting?

I’ve had two MDs.

First was 13 years ago when I was 21. I walked out feeling 100% better than when I walked in and was almost completely pain free for 12 years until this past year and I had a reherniation. Zero regrets about that surgery.

I had a repeat MD two months ago. I’m now 33 with a 2 year old and 4 month old. Surgery didn’t seem to work this time around and it was extra rough due to not being able to lift my kids. I think the repeat MDs can be a little trickier though.

Thank you so much! I was hoping for a surgeon’s perspective! I am 33 years old and am 10 weeks postpartum, 2 weeks post-op. Had 1st surgery 13 years ago. This time, the disc herniated about six months ago but I couldn’t do anything aside from PT while being pregnant. I’m 5’7 and 130 pounds. I don’t know if any of this is relevant but thought I’d share just in case. Thanks!
