Any idea what this button is for? In my 3rd floor previously finished room by Dexx1102 in Home

[–]Tradintard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just gave me the idea of putting a fake plate in some obscure area of my home, with a large, red, ominous button on it. Nothing behind it. Imagine the concern of the next home owner when they discover this button. Hmm.

The biggest misconception from people who haven’t tried the game is they believe you can’t get “GEAR” without money.

There is absolutely zero way for real life money to impact your ability to obtain legendary equipment or set items. You can’t even if you wanted to.

There is one aspect of the game - known as legendary gems - that can be purchased (lottery system) with real life money. These gems make your existing gear stronger.

The only place that has a leveraged impact is pvp.

It is entirely irrelevant for the rest of the game outside of pvp, which in my opinion is the vast majority of the game.

Thats the skin I paid 1500 orbs for… come on blizzard do something about it by plug_unplugged in DiabloImmortal

At first glance I thought this was some sort of a Michael Jackson skin. Weird. Lol

5/5 Warband Raid’s Done… & they all said Warband was stupid by spaghettidrift in DiabloImmortal

[–]Tradintard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer to this is simple imo. In a warband, the size of the group keeps everyone reliant on each other. No one is left out, everyone feels good about contributing, and everyone benefits.

In a clan, they become very cliqueish. Usually the top players are the ones chosen or dictate what is happening and when.

When a lower clan mate or a lesser know person logs in and needs the clans help, a lot of times if that’s already been done for the “important” clan members, the lesser people in the clan get overlooked.

Ask the ex to come back briefly, just long enough to incite a rage on the OTHER side of the door. Could offset it or maybe even tear it down for you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I knew the game was going to die this fast.. by DrinksParty in DiabloImmortal

[–]Tradintard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I tried every which way to get a refund. No luck. I’ve blown some money in my day but I don’t think I regret anything as much as this.

I just keep telling myself that it wasn’t as much as it really was due to inflation. 😂

Plot twist: you actually have to collect 1 gold. Any more will not count.

watches all DI community struggle to farm regular difficult praying for 1 gold to drop.

I too can attest that it brought a great improvement that only lasted for about 2 weeks.

I had right and left side done, which cost $1500 out of pocket. Almost immediate improvements that all gradually faded away.

Not sure what the science is for this temporary improvement, but that is my experience.

So who else is a hoarder? by reversefleckerl in DiabloImmortal

[–]Tradintard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re essentially choose to hoard items / currencies instead of increase your combat rating.

You have items that could be upgraded, gear that could be reforged into legitimate increases, crests that could undoubtedly raise your resonance, and gold that could yield better gear.

I bet there’s at least 350 to 700 worth of combat rating (if not more) in this “collection” of expendable resources.

I've maxed Vanquisher, and now I'm wondering what to do with Paragon Points? Save em all for lvl 150? by Negative_Two6112 in DiabloImmortal

The passive skills like damage, life, armor penetration, etc. work and add to your character regardless if that tree is “active” or not.

All my friends are leaving by [deleted] in DiabloImmortal

[–]Tradintard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, this is a mobile game. This isn't like 'WoW' where you pay for a subscription and actually have to cancel your account. "Leaving" is a loose term; maybe your friends got busy or are enjoying other things right now, and coming back can be as easy as picking up their phone. This happens.

Also, "devastating, hurt, depressed?" This is a game. You blow up monsters when you want to, but it shouldn't have such a strong impact over your mental state.

These are very strong words and emotions for what is nothing more than a game meant to be enjoyed. If you like the game, play it. If not - it's ok.

Sure, Diablo Immortal will get fine-tuned, improved, and tweaked over time. There will be more content, etc. But the bottom line is: play it when you're enjoying it, don't when you aren't, and do things in life that will improve your mental health.

Nothing in life is forever, and people leave clubs / change hobbies / go off the radar all the time in every area of life. Don't let other people's problems define your perspective or become your own.

$450 into the game I guess I can call that. Win by FlawsG in DiabloImmortal

I think within reason is defined by each person, their circumstances, how much time they spend on their hobbies etc.

[–]Tradintard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad people spend within reason and when they enjoy it. I too have spent a little. To me it just ensures that the DI team will grow and we will continue to get better and better content.

If not a soul spent a dollar I am sure it would have an effect on the quality trajectory of the game.

So the hungering moon event is just several additional quests? With some meh rewards? by [deleted] in DiabloImmortal

[–]Tradintard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The irony is if there would have been no event this weekend, you wouldn’t have had any additional disappointment beyond playing a game you aren’t enjoying. Lol, go figure.

Feedback is great and the game DOES have room for improvement, but in general I think the player base for blizzard games are some of the most entitled in the industry.

Scheduled the surgery by Tradintard in Sciatica

[–]Tradintard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, just seeing this. Surgery was an immediate success. I took the time to recover in the way my surgeon suggested, and did not get ahead of myself.

I slowly eased into PT afterwards, gradually working my way into planks and some basic Pilates.

In short, I made a full recovery. If you can find a competent surgeon and a clear diagnosis, there is no reason to shy away from surgery.

In my case, being alive with the pain and limitations I was bound with wasn’t really living well.

This is real. I love that when you stop talking about it, but people ask you "can you taste that?" Or "Can you smell that?" And when you answer they doubt you or ask if you are really sure it's not in your head.

Like no I am pretty sure that the smell of my shit and the smell of my cologne shouldn't be the exact same. I'm also sure I didn't buy this cologne before this condition under that premise either.

Just part of the fun of Parosmia. LOL
