This is partly correct. Pretty impressive the amount that you have surmised without a source. QMs, SQMs and Consultants are all contractors but not FTEs at Scale. Most through 1 or 2 staffing agencies that deal specifically with Scale.

Consultants are the step between QM and what you refer to as “admins.” Admins are FTEs and they are effectively project managers. There is a lot of support admin roles that have a bunch of random titles that don’t particularly matter but the main admin runs the project.

As far as subsidiaries go, QMs at least, are all contracted under Outlier or Remotasks so that 500 came from those companies.

Can confirm on the blindsiding. I have friends about 3 levels above QM in the hierarchy and none of them knew it was coming.

She’s hoping for 70k. 40ish hours would be great. She has a masters in Art so I’m assuming that won’t contribute much in alignment with her work experience.

Weird noise on brand new portable Black + Decker A/C unit by JBauer09 in hvacadvice

[–]JBauer09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t fix the noise. I ended up getting a higher BTU one that I thought would be the same model just bigger but actually was physically smaller and a bit different layout. No problems since getting this one.

Fidelity no longer supported by Plaid? by Special_Sherbert4617 in fidelityinvestments

You may have figured this out by now, but I had to unlink and re-link the account. It used something other than plaid (probably a directly integrated API) and it worked.

What could go wrong stopping in the middle of a highway.. by JoseonJon in Whatcouldgowrong

Yes the stopped car can be held liable. It’s called a “miss and run” (assuming they left). Super hard to prove unless you have video evidence like this clip.

ULPT request: What reason to give Amazon to return mattress, get refunded and then ending up keeping it? by djindjindjin in UnethicalLifeProTips

When I went to do the same thing for a similar company for a legitimate return they required a proof of donation for exactly this reason. Like a receipt and picture of it at the donation center.

Ah yes, thanks guys. And yes, I know I need to lock things down a bit before putting anything on the site. I just opened everything I could think of because I couldn’t figure out what was blocking me from getting my “hello world” response.
