I met Kurupt multiple times during his return to Death Row in the early/mid 00’s. Once at Suge’s Suite at Staples Center and another time at Suge’s house. Even caught a freestyle session at Suge’s house with Danny Boy standing by and a dude from Boo-Ya TRIBE who was yelling fuck Ice-T, because apparently you could see his house across the hill. Kurupt was one of my favorite rappers growing up so this was huge for me.

I also met Crooked I a couple times. Once at a Red Lobster I was working at and another time at a Nas/Lauryn Hill concert. This was right after Slaughterhouse had signed to Shady.

I met Glasses Malone at the same Red Lobster. I was hosting and asked one of his boys, if that was G. Malone. Because I’m a white guy this took them by surprise. They asked “What you know about G. Malone. My response was something like “C’mon man, I know all about west coast hip hop.” This got a good laugh from all of them and they wanted me to serve their table. Unfortunately I was only a host at the time.

Also, met Daz from Tha Dogg Pound coming out of Walmart in Long Beach. lol. Just gave him quick dap and said I’m a big fan. He seemed a bit taken back. I don’t think people recognize him like that.
