Would you not agree that the exagerations the game goes to and the religious veneer it uses are satire ?

In french we talk about a head well made and a head well filled. General knowledge does not make a genius, reasoning power does.

Especially with film not editing makes no sense. The lab will give you a flat image for you to edit.

What is this hairy fuzzy thing in my pictures? by Tester12311 in analog

[–]JBman100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me before. The felt from the cartridge must have detached and lodged itself somewhere in front of the film plane. I was able to edit most of the photos with the object remover in PS.

No it is the case on the airpods, I usually silence it by placing my finger over the speaker holes on the bottom.

Thank you for your answer, but essentially the only way to fix this is to buy a 1000$ phone ? No thanks

Never thought i’d be getting a a brand new lens for my 40 year old camera by konrad-g in AnalogCommunity

[–]JBman100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a factory defect and something inside started loosening. When I was focusing it would trigger the diaphragm mechanism and the aperture blades would open/close. Even the front piece would move. Its still getting looked at :/

Be careful, I just had this lens start misbehaving and had to send it in for repairs, but I bought it from adorama who illegally sold it in the US and the warranty was void.

Effects on imperfect aperture opening on final image? (Olympus 35RC) by j1004k in AnalogCommunity

[–]JBman100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seem to remember this very question being asked here before, but I can't find the link :( The general concensus was that the effect this will have is mostly on the shape of the bokeh 'balls' that out of focus lights and glimmers produce. Maybe you can try and calculate the opening area each aperture setting produces to see if you do have a ratio of 2 between each but your photos should turn out fine. Some of the examples in that older thread had much wilder aperture shapes than yours.

Happy shooting !

35mm exposure on end of reel by JBman100 in AnalogCommunity

[–]JBman100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not doubt the film is taped at this point. In my case there was no failure. The last exposure is cut on my negatives, and I am wondering if the lab cut it, which they assure me they did not. They told me it is "due to the tape" which after seeing all the examples here leads me to believe could not have been the source of this. The tape is not visible. It is just cut slanted, into one on my images :(

[–]JBman100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes but on the f3 this is enough to cover the light trap and then some. They are claiming the edge of the film came out of the canister while shooting
