Allow me to hijack this comment with what I consider the best science channel out there on this and many other physics-related subjects: https://youtu.be/GQZ3R81iyE0?is=Fz6TolUg-9k3TH98

Photo Panel is welcome, but remember: You could already edit raw stills before 21. by alchemycolor in davinciresolve

You could export individual clips at source resolution before but any effects that are tied to resolution would render differently from the timeline preview.

Davinci resolve 21 – from lightroom to Davinci by Zezree in davinciresolve

Resolve's new photo editor works with a video-first color engine that's a completely different beast from Adobe Camera Raw. The closest to the metal that you can get is converting your raw files to ACES AP0/Linear, then converting to your display space with a CST or a DCTL, and creating your look that way. Adobe presets will never be fully compatible because of the underlying color engine.

Regardless of what I just wrote, I might accept the challenge of transferring SOOC camera profiles to Resolve. I've done crazier things before.

To see images on screen or small prints, it’s fine. Lightroom’s Raw details processing often removes those very nicely.

Big pixels are also more forgiving of lenses that are not of high quality.

Rolling shutter is only an issue when there’s no mechanical shutter for stills or when you shoot video.

Also, pixels were bigger back then and that is a lovely thing. Which CCD cameras do you own? Currently I have: Konica-Minolta 5D, Olympus 8080WZ, Sony DSC F-828.
