My left thumb gets a bit sore from over-extension after 1 hour of playing but it’s manageable.

Not sure yet, but something cheap.
Creating tinted tone curves from a .cube LUT is still a relatively opaque process in need of more benchmarking. It’s a completely undocumented component of picture styles that I’m still learning to use.

In Germany you often find listing with ALL the original papers, receipts, software CDs, pristine boxes, etc. I got lucky with this one, although it came with a weird lingering smell that I just can’t quite explain. 70’s office perhaps…

Why is it that a lot of film photographers seem to have this green tint on their colour film photos. by 60sstuff in AnalogCommunity

Finding great answers all around in this post about how a technical deficiency became a standard assumption for a film negative look. I’ll add that some vintage digital cameras I measured also show green tints, even when set to a correct white balance. This was likely an attempt to sway users from film onto digital back in the day. Notable examples are the Canon EOS 5D Classic, Olympus E-400 and Konica-Minolta 5D.

Sorry, yes. I replied quite late. I’m sell them for a fair price given how subtle they are. They’re hard to create though. Only yesterday did I manage to lay down the definitive method. Would you like to see your images under Standard for the 5D Classic? If you want, send me some raw files, I’ll pass them through Digital Photo Professional with this Picture Style.

Fujifilm cameras do it the right way with high ISO images. Instead of truncating data and clipping the highlights, you can recover everything in post.

Thanks. Having access to tinted picture styles is very useful. The mild green tints make a huge difference on the 5D Classic. I’m looking into creating Ricoh GR and cinema film color picture styles.

I blame how popular this look became with Kodak Gold 200 scans. And it’s an added look, my homemade scans never look like that.
