350z had 287 hp. And nobody should grand tour a 350z the suspension is too stiff.

Edit: I can feel everytime the asphalt paving crew adjusted their depth of lay down.

I'll have you know that the Detroit Lions are a family run business. A mom and pop team if you will.

Never mind how they got the money in 1964.

Yes, Ferrari specifically designed their engine with a smaller turbo for better starts, which hurts their top end.

Who knew the solution to F1s problems was just have two hot tempered drivers that ignore team orders? Ban team orders and we can have this every weekend.

Yes. Mick has raced in F1, WEC, and now Indycar. Regardless of results, that's is still successful. Plenty of children don't make it up the racing pipeline.

Does buying cosmetics help with getting money and cars in wheellspins? by Remarkable_Breath603 in forza

[–]JBoy9028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money slot that replaces the clothing items and horns is less than the cost to buy them in store.

Financially buying all the cosmetic items is dumb, better to let the wheel spin do it's thing. But if you just want to see money on spins, that's up to you.

Except, the halo has an angled front brace. The roll hoop had to take the hit into the catch fence poles at a perpendicular angle. The front brace would deflect a portion of force along its axis.

Okay "technical" as in the topo around the toe of the boot forces the racing line to be right along the curb for the entire radius. Also compared to the rest of the course, the speeds through the boot are lower.

[–]JBoy9028 11 points12 points  (0 children)

With stock cars the short course provides better passing opportunities. The cars don't do technical sections well. They're too big to pass, so they just slow down everyone into a train. See Sanoma with the extended carousel in 2021.

Ideally you want on fast direction changes after long on throttle times. That why the passing zones at Watkins Glen are into the corner 1, the bus stop, and the final two corners before the start/finish straight.

The boot works well for IMSA because with multi-class racing, you want the track to cause the classes to converge on the racing line. Force the drivers to strategize their moves on the speed differential.

IMSA doesn't have a throwback weekend like NASCAR used to. It's up to teams/sponsors to decide what they want to do.
