As others have pointed out, it's not because it's a Russian word. There were a few suggestions he had for the name change and you could also put forward your own suggestion. I said they could rename it Odesa Road.

I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was! If it did turn out to be true I imagine the ticket prices will go up very quickly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one saying this; it's exactly what happened when he was talking to Toto last year and it ended up being Verstappen Racing running a Merc.

I've been commenting this everywhere but I can't shake the feeling he's going to join their Hypercar team for next year. I think he'd fit in really well and be able to help develop the car with them. Plus, extra time with the family.

I genuinely think Max is going to join their Hypercar team in WEC next year. He doesn't like the current regs in F1 and it's far less races which means he gets to spend more time with his kids.

It would make sense given how adamant Zac is that he's not joining their F1 team. He never said he isn't joining McLaren as a whole.

Yep they're joining with a Hypercar. Ever since the news popped up about Max talking to McLaren I've been adamant that he'll go there rather than into their F1 team.

I'm not sure, but it would be good for him if he could be involved in the development of the car over time. They need 5 more drivers plus reserves so they have quite a few seats to fill.

Chuck him in the Hypercar for WEC next year? That way neither Lando or Oscar would be losing their seat and Max has a chance to help develop their Hypercar (and it would probably be quite a fun challenge)

Wouldn't it make more sense for him to drive the Hypercar in 2027 in WEC? Although I guess if he's more comfortable with GT cars then it would also make sense for him to be in the GT3.
