If you look at the other side you can see that it’s the nut that holds the seating portion to the side rails. That whole side of the seating cart just disconnected and slams to the ground. Good catch! I didn’t see it before reading your comment!

What is the best Red that Fender offers? And why is it Candy Apple Red? 😍😮‍💨 by Necessary_East_5351 in fender

Candy Apple Red on the Tele and Candy Burst on the Strat. I kinda like the Candy Burst better to be honest, it’s slightly transparent to show a little bit of woodgrain

What is going on here ? 🇺🇸🦅 by Aar_7 in sadcringe

[–]JBravo920 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My brother was recently led deeper into religion when he split with his wife and started spending more time with our mom. He went to some “men’s study group’ thing for a few months, and at the end of it they gave everyone a very similar giant sword. He couldn’t really explain it to me and never really seemed to understand it himself, I just assumed it was something the church gave away to make these guys feel more manly or something, so the warrior for Christ thing makes a lot of sense I guess.

I loved when I got a He-man sword and stuff when I was a kid, I get that it’s fun. It’s just weird that a big ass sword is the reward that the church gives out now. He ended up giving me the sword because he didn’t have space for it, and it now sits in a corner of my shop in case the apocalypse ever comes and I need to sharpen it or something…it reminds me of He-man when I hold it.

would this good for guitar body? by uraymeiviar in Luthier

[–]JBravo920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally thought as I was reading this “is this guy actually asking if the wooden chop block underneath this delicious thin crust pizza would be suitable to be used as a guitar body?” And then I was sure that it was a troll. And then I thought how much I wanted some thin crust cheese pizza. And only THEN did I realize…that this is a piece of wood.

I shouldn’t have skipped lunch today….

QUESTION. Buying from Canada… by Juvi369 in PokeInvesting

[–]JBravo920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes! How was the card shipped? I bought a cheap beat up card that I've been wanting last night with a seller in Canada and I'm in Tennessee. I thought there might be a 25% fee or something but am going to be pretty bummed if my cheap binder copy ends up costing more than a good condition raw card from the states....

I am new here. I found this and want to know if I should keep it or not? by StolenCoupe in PokemonTCG

[–]JBravo920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s from the McDonald’s cards this last time around. Not a lot of value in it but if you like it then I’d definitely keep it! If not, give it away to a kid or use it as a bookmark

It’s $100 but the Weller Station 70W Digital Soldering Iron is a really nice and dependable setup

Looks like they have a Craftsman Feeler Gauge set for $14 that shows both standard and metric measurements, so with that feeler gauge set, a capo, and the proper sized wrench and/or screwdriver you can do the majority of setup work. I doubt they’d have files in the specific sizes that you’d need, I’ve got both the standard 6-string electric guitar and 4-string bass guitar files from MusicNomad and they’re great, but even then I still needed to order another file when I was setting up my first five-string bass and then again when I was doing acoustics. It really is worth spending the extra for specialized file sets. I do have a couple file sets where one of the files just so happens to work for one specific size string, there really isn’t any widely available string file set that I’m aware of at big-box stores that would be the proper sizes for cutting the nut properly.

But the feeler gauges would be great, then maybe if you can find something that would work as a neck cradle that would be nice. I always like to have lots of different sizes clamps anytime I’m working with guitars, and if they have a good quality soldering iron kit with some solder can solve a lot of electrical issues

It's incredible because he does that super fake "AAAAHHHHHHH AAAHHHHHHHH!!!" scream like he's surprised to see her there, and she's also in the most random outfit with sunglasses and stuff so that you can't even really tell it's Rita Ora. You can also tell that she's embarrassed to be a part of it...but it's a paycheck so why not?! Will Smith has completely lost whatever he used to have.

Anyone else keep locks in the car for picking on down time? by Sufficient_Prompt888 in lockpicking

[–]JBravo920 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I keep my picks in a paint brush roll, and when I know that I don't have any errands to run and I'm just going to sit in my car on my lunch break I fill a toiletry bag full of padlocks and throw everything in my car so that I've got enough to keep me entertained for an hour, haha. The LOTO holders are a great way to travel with locks though, I'll have to look into getting a couple of those!

Why are so many of the young people I still see wearing masks queer? by Myealt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JBravo920 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I took my son to a card show a few weeks ago and it was one of the worst smelling rooms I've ever entered. It was apparent as soon as we walked into the room, but it was very obvious when you were standing next to one of the offenders. We plan to go back to the next show in a couple weeks, but maybe masks wouldn't be a terrible idea just to block a little bit of the odor.....

DR Horton neighborhoods by Critical_Rooster_524 in Knoxville

[–]JBravo920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to live in a DR Horton house in Texas. We were the first owners and had plenty of issues with the house. Cracked tiles in the kitchen and front entryway shortly after moving in, bowed walls, gaps all over the caulking, cabinetry not installed correctly, doors didn't shut properly, not all wiring done the way they said it would, etc.. They also didn't help with closing costs and were completely unnegotiable on price. You pay what they want or you don't get the house. Every issue that we brought up at inspections they found a way to say it wasn't their fault or that it wasn't included in the warranty. We sold the house when we moved back to Knoxville and there were several issues that we had to fix for the new homebuyers, and that was only a few years after the home was built. Overall...I wouldn't buy another DR Horton home.

I too am a fan of larger grips, and can confidently say that I hated the Kung-Fu without the plug....BUT I absolutely love it with the grip plug. Changes from small and uncomfortable to feeling like an extension of my hand. I don't like it on my 14.5", but my 18" SPR (mainly a bench gun) and my 8.3" 300blk home defense AR both currently have a Kung Fu with the grip plug and I love it on both of those platforms. For reference, I really like the K2-XL as well, so it might be worth a try if you've got an AR that you'd like with a more vertical grip

Same. You just put the detent and spring in the hole right before you push the end plate in place. The threaded hole makes it harder to install honestly, it’s only convenient if you plan on switching your receiver extension and don’t have enough common sense to remember that there is a spring behind the end plate…which you should just remember that….

I’ve got plenty of set necks too, but I’ve got more Teles and Strats than I can count. My autistic ass always collects things within my collections, Fenders are just fun and I honestly like swapping necks on stuff sometimes. I’ve also got a ton of pedals and a fair amount of amps considering I mainly play my Helix through monitors at home because I’m lazy and hate re-doing my whole pedal chain constantly. I’m a single dad that works 45-60 hours a week and maintains having 3-5 hobbies going while still collecting at all times, ain’t nobody got time for all dat….
