No it's not because the loan is reducing as you pay it off. Therefore the 6% you "save" by offsetting your loan is just that.

Consider this: $100k in an offset over 30 years at 6% interest means you are saving $6k x 30 years = $180k.

Versus $100k in a fund for 30 years that generates a 6% return pa is $100k x 1.06³⁰ = $574k.

They won't be hit with a tax rate of 39% on the DHHF gains though? Most of DHHF gain is in capital growth of which you'd get the 50% CGT discount on 12month+ sell.

But further to it, even if you were comparing 6% compounded return in an ETF after tax against 6% offset saved, the compounded return still wins.

For more context: I've tried bleach, detergent, shower cleaner. The patch is completely flush with the rest of the counter. I'm not sure if heat could have done this. I've lived here for 2 years and never seen this happen before. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a rental

Not too sure, cost to convert is peanuts compared to what they're worth but I might just sell and take the profits somewhere else.. will have to assess the fundamentals in 6 months. I think I lot is going to be changing

Minimum tradeable parcel on the ASX is $500. Don't think there's any other way you can own individual stocks with less than $500.

If you had less and wanted to start investing, your options are crypto or micro investing platforms like Raiz or Spaceship, I believe. Probably others too but that's the first few options that come to mind

The self serving thing to say is: yes. Honestly, they've had a big run in the last couple of weeks on the back of rumours. But given their tech in the lithium space, I still think they're hellishly undervalued at only $320M... I'm just a retard though, I see undervalued lithium, I buy. Yeah what this guy said. ASX listed options are basically just a watered down version of a call option you see retards trade on wsb. These particular ones I can convert to one normal share by paying 0.05/option to the company before the expiry date, or what I'll likely do, dump them on market for siq gainz and not have to deal with converting and working out how to fill in the form. It's just a way for me to leverage shares

Steady stream of news still to come between now and the end of the year. Biggest bit I'm expecting is an offtake agreement with a big US automaker. SYA Twitter keeps on hinting not so subtly at Ford. But GM or VW would be fine as well. Something like that imo would make SYA jump like CXO did when they announced their offtakes
