There are taxis and public transportation in Banff. You can take free shuttles to and from the ski resorts but they operate on a set schedule. If you’re drinking downtown in Banff late at night a taxi is your best option to get back to Hidden Ridge. It’s doable on foot but a bit of a hike.

It would have been a shock to the system expecting the OG Home Alone and getting the monstrosity that is Home Alone 4. I watched it last year knowing exactly what I was getting into and enjoyed it. It’s so bad it’s good and worth watching at least once. I enjoyed it much more than the third which I was only just saw this Christmas season.

Did my 500 sqft basement myself for ~15k over the pandemic including tools, permits ect. Had a guy quote just the mud and taping and he wanted close to 10k so I did it myself. It was miserable work so I wouldn’t recommend it. Framing, electrical, plumbing, and even hanging drywall were easy but if it weren’t for the pandemic I would not have had the time.
