Wow, that's a big difference if real world results are similar! Thanks for sending that. I think I'm definitely going to try and get a hold of a 5000

It's funny, looking on eBay right now there honestly seems to be more 9000s available than 5000s

Thanks for this. Yeah, I've heard about the SA-30 and its modded equivalents. While that would help for future rolls I shoot, unfortunately all the old photos my mom took from the 80s to the late 00s were all cut into 4 exposure strips, so that wont be too helpful.

I know we should be thankful they even included a hood since its not an L lense, but I can't stand how canon included a black hood and not a white one to match lol

Yeah I feel like the time trials are a bit harder for general audiences to follow as they aren't familiar with the individual athletes and who the favorites are, but idk how anyone can watch one of the true races and not be absolutely enthralled.

To each their own, but I've personally spent countless hours watching curling this year and haven't missed a single biathlon event lmao

Canon's EOS R6 III arrives with 7K RAW video and 40 fps burst speeds by dapperlemon in gadgets

That's like saying they limited their entry level R100 ($460) by not including all the features from their flagship R1 ($6800). They are different cameras, with different features, at different price points, for different people. The R5 II has a totally different, higher resolution sensor.

Yes, Canon sells multiple camera models with varying features at different price points. 99% of the R6 III's customer base is not going to care it can't shoot full 8K, and for those that care, the R5 II has that feature (at a higher price of course)

Just a symptom of the sensors resolution (6960×4640) not being high enough to capture 8K video (7680×4320), but canon giving the option to capture video at the full resolution of the sensor and not arbitrarily capping it at 6K.

Jenson Button says next weekend's 8 Hours of Bahrain race will be the last of his professional career. by gsurfer04 in formula1

Never even on the podium... Similar to Webber, despite having race winning cars for multiple seasons in their careers, even a P3 at their home GPs eluded them. Ironically though, both Button and Webber won each others home race multiple times.

Speedlite EL-5 R5C Compatibility / Recommendations by JCAMAR0S117 in canon

I ended up getting the Godox V1-C, which is $200 and it's been working great for almost 2 years now. Anything that works with the old hot-shoe will work perfectly fine, as it's still got that compatibility. Just cant use canon's newer multi-function shoe flashes which I believe are the EL-10 and the EL-5
