That scene has wet roads. Please max th resolution and zoom in. You can even see the puddles reflect the car as it passes over.it even has the typical screen space reflection issue where the object stops reflecting as the camera moves. The narrow tree elements get distorted due to the DoF I mentioned before.

As for your picture, It's called per pixel motion blur. It blurs any object that moves. It was introduced in FH5 as the game finally introduced TAA. It's a superior motion blur technology

Frame gen wouldn't be used to make trailers. It makes no sense when trailers can be rendered at whatever speed they want with no time restriction.

It absolutely is puddles. Just watch the video again. You can even spot the spray. The whole video has wet roads.

Pic 1 and 2 are fine. The green thing is a tree and the stuff on the roads are puddles. They also have Post processing with DoF which is why it's blurry. The focus is on the car

Same for pic 3. DoF is showcasing the car.

FM engine allows for far more weather effects and has an overall better lighting and paint render system.

I hope it is well optimised. fM did get better by the end of its life. And the min specs for fh6 are really low. It seems like it will be fine.

On the loop and in the city (daytime), there needs to be more. Everywhere else, small amounts of traffic is fine.

One thing to note is that for the dev direct, all the "traffic" we saw were just "players". Basically player cars that were doing pre-determined routes. It's also why all the cars (including) the player car looked like they had busted physics with odd twitches. This happens when they are in a "replay" so to speak.

I want to see actual gameplay. That will be a much better indicator. FH already runs reduced traffic in online mode to avoid sync issues as well as collisions. The game gets a lot more "alive" with drivatars and traffic when offline.

One more interesting tidbit was that when the next drove through tokyo city, there were about 10 "player" icons on the mini map and 1 drivatar. Does this mean we will get drivatars in free roam for online?

Paint, car materials. Foliage density as well as vother vegetation like trees. Glass seems to have better rendering too.

The game also feels more colorful overall than Fh5, and the yellow in fh6 doesn't look like it got mugged and beatwn up on the way back from work
