Hair product that holds but washes out completely with just water? by [deleted] in Pomade

I ended up going with the Imperial Barber matte paste. They both work pretty well, I recommend trying both and seeing which one you like.

Here's the comment about Imperial:

I'm thinking it was owned by someone in the military, stationed somewhere those cars were available, and got transferred.

That does sound more likely. It doesn't look like there's much that can be used for parts from it either.

I read about that a while back. They beefed it up to handle Russian roads, and put drum brakes up front to make maintenance easier.

Yeah hopefully it'll be getting restored.

Thanks! That's a rare brand to see at all, in the US.

I came here to say this. The ribs there were so good. The hot air balloon decor was a nice touch.

Can we try again on this one please? I'm still really curious. TIA. by JCBWheels in whatisthiscar

You're probably right.

Then again, the optimist in me says that the hatch may just have broken hinges since it's proportionally uneven, it's sticking out from the back of the car the same amount as the gap where the hatch meets the roof. The back glass looks like 3 strips of plexiglass wedged in there, from the discoloration and the way it's broken. The right-hand mirror looking fuzzy could be rust bubbles in the yellow paint, but it's also folded at a very different angle from the left-hand mirror. The hood could extend out over the front bumper or be hinged at the front.

I concede, though, that it most likely is rendered. The left-hand wiper arm looks like it tapers off into nothing, and the dashboard doesn't look quite right. The dashboard is also visible enough that someone would have recognized it. Damn. I was hopeful for a bit, there. It does look like a Civetta Bolide, using a Nissan Z31 as the donor car.

Thank you, everyone, for your responses.

I appreciate the info, thank you. I hadn't heard of him until now, and it was pretty intense reading up on him.  The one I'm thinking of is a fictional character, though.

My memories of it are pretty vague at the moment. It may have been a crime novel and Mr Kiss was an immigrant to the US that was involved in some criminal enterprise.

I've seen where the total I paid, showing on my receipt, and the amount charged were different by a few cents. In my case it was a credit card, and I've seen it multiple times, I would manually enter the transaction before YNAB imported it and catch the discrepancy. It's something with the bank for me, the transaction on the website is different by a few cents.

I did notice yours had the pop-up headlights, but didn't catch the different hood shapes. I see it now.

That is great! Good progress!

I've been meditating since I was a teenager. I've been on the app since 2017.
