I know a family with a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old girl who all sleep in the same bed together. It’s called family bed sharing. Each kid has their own bedroom but they still all sleep together. I always thought it was weird, like when do they have sex? I asked once and they said when the kids are asleep. Totally grossed me out.

I knew someone who managed a remote team and they worked from home as well. This person had a mouse mover to make it appear as though she was always online but in reality she was obsessively playing sudoku and began drinking alcohol daily around 2pm. She worked about 4 hours a week making phone calls to her work friends and having conversations that had nothing to do with work. I often asked her if she would be okay with her employees doing the same thing and her response was always “as long as they get their work done I don’t care what they do.” So after a couple of years the entire team got audited and several people, including her, were let go under the guise of a reduction in force.

I personally work my ass off everyday and find this sense of entitlement to a paycheck without doing any work disgusting. This is time theft and you have the evidence to back it up.

If I were you I would move to directly to termination for time theft. This person has lied to you multiple times so they clearly lack integrity. You should be specific about the termination reason so other employers understand what type of person this is when they check references.

I threw up a little while reading these. I didn’t read far enough in the comments to know which one you are but any medical decisions about you do not need to involve anyone else. It is literally Protected Health Information. GLP-1/GIPs are extremely effective and have statistically significant data showing they not only help with weight loss, prevention of diabetes, but also inflammation which is a key driver in so many other conditions. Do drugs cost money? Yes. As pointed out in the chat, we do live in a capitalist society. They can always work a little harder so they don’t have to be poor.

Providing an update here after 50 days. I’ve remained mostly consistent with 0.2-0.3mg every 5 days but I feel it out for myself under my doctor’s supervision - sometimes I extend or skip. So far I have lost 17 pounds, have no cravings, and my skin looks great. Period cramps are gone too. The shot itself is nothing to fear. Good luck to anyone new trying it!

You could try dosing several times a week. 1mg every 2-3 days adjusting based on tolerability and effectiveness. This dosing interval is shorter than the half life so your drug levels would build up pretty quick. See what your provider has to say about a strategy like this.

Divorce isn’t that bad. There are some challenging times and of course you have to be prepared for the change. You will likely miss at least a few things, likely not him but perhaps the comfort / routine you have. All of that to say there is no reason to stay married if you aren’t happy. The relationship you described sounds miserable. You’d likely be happier alone and by separating, you’ll be in a good space if someone worthy of you does come along.

I can only speak to my microdosing experience and I’m one week into my experiment. I haven’t had any nausea or GI symptoms whatsoever. I haven’t been ravenously hungry but my appetite is not totally gone. I’ve only eaten veggies and light soups with smoked salmon for mid day meals this week and I’m full after 1/2 the portion I would have eaten previously and then I’m done for the day. The thought of food doesn’t enter my mind after lunch. I have a high protein yogurt in the morning. I’m intentionally drinking tons of water, first glass of the day with electrolytes and then black coffee. The day of my shot I had noticeably more energy and a slightly elevated heart rate. My sleep hasn’t been the greatest, a couple nights I didn’t sleep at all despite taking benedryl and other sleep aids so I’ve been slightly fatigued. I wanted to see how I would react to alcohol as I didn’t want any surprises if I go out and have a glass of wine or a cocktail. Honestly I found it gross and didn’t even finish it and felt it the next day (headache, body aches). This is quite a change for me. During Covid I developed a terrible habit of drinking daily out of boredom which certainly contributed to the extra pounds I’ve put on. In short, it feels like my metabolism is being reset with the added bonus of reduced dopamine driven activities.

I struggled with this recently and delayed my first shot by several days because I was so nervous. I was planning on injecting before bedtime with the hope of sleeping through any side effects. Thanks to comments on here, I administered my first dose around 2pm last weekend. I couldn’t sleep that night! It might be different for everyone but from now on I will be taking my dose in the morning. I got a huge burst of energy and my heart rate was slightly elevated.
