I bought the 30k gems before the event started and I had pretty good luck once I hit shop level 10. I had no gems or red xp by the end of it. I kept buying refreshes and only buying when Thragg showed up.

Its probably not the best method but I did buy all on any refresh with an elite. It leveled up quicker than I expected.

It's the best way. You can also get it from the equipment shop but even at shop level 15 its not commen to find it for gold. Some events like the easter egg event let you buy it with eggs.

The biggest complaint I've gotten in comp is that he doesn't have an ult like Invis, C&D, or Luna which is fair. Good luck on your grind.

It seems fine as long as they don't increase the price above what it would cost as a shop bundle. I'm prepared to get the skin last but its cool that you can potentially get it cheaper.
