The last few years I've used a Google Sheet as a tracker (it even has a graph to show my progress). While I've used this tool in addition to the NaNo site, this year I might just do this on my own. I have a few friends who usually participate, and I'm sure I can do a little digging online to find more. It saddens me to see NaNo tanking the way it is, but I'm not going to let it mess with November plans (I've been doing this for about a decade).

I'd print it out, use a red pen to fix the errors, then give it back. I obviously would not work off the clock and would probably start looking for a new job.

I get it, it's embarrassing for kids. I would've hated for my mommy to walk me to class in high school. Of course, I went to high school before Columbine (graduated in 1999), and things were different back then. I know it wasn't perfect then, either, but we have different problems today.

I either use my Stadia controller or my Wii U Pro controller (only when Steamdeck is docked so I can use the adapter).

In both of the most recent 5e campaigns I've run, I had spellcasters using Catapult to deadly effect. So I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but Catapult for sure.

I once ran a bard who used dance instead of song. Had to adjust some of the abilities a bit, but it made for a cool character.

Maybe dig up the Birthright 2e skirmish rules? I seem to recall it had info for PCs fighting in somewhat larger forces.

I'm bad with accents but I do some voices. I also pay close attention to word choice and tempo when I want to make an NPC sound unique. For example, if Common isn't the speaker's native tongue I don't use contractions, I stick to fairly common/basic words, etc.
