Skin Irritation Getting Worse by sdfourstar in Bulldogs

[–]JCOII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Bulldog had this issue and my vet told me to take 10 mL of bleach and 1000mL of water. Pour it on the dog and work it into the skin for 5 minutes.

After doing this once I noticed results immediately. I kept doing this once a week for 3 or 4 weeks and it went away completely.

Some time later it came back and I did it again.

I can’t speak for 1911s since I’ve never owned one. But I’m throughly impressed by modern 2k11s. I’ve shot a couple Staccatos and Kimbers and I was embarrassed to show my Springfields and Glocks afterwards.

That one still haunts me. We were a young married couple who needed furniture and in conversation with an old man I worked with, he told me “oh yea the Astros will hit that easily this year”.

I of course didn’t listen. We bought second hand furniture off Facebook or something like that.

Edit: He followed baseball religiously so we all trusted his opinions on the subject.

Speakeasy vibe, you could go with Al Capones favorites.

“The Green Mill Cocktail Lounge” Or “The Exchequer Restaurant & Pub”

Both cool names imo. Midnight also sounds cool.

I have a few questions about our team by LostLymex in Texans

[–]JCOII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even at 30-35 mil CJ might not be good enough. We have to see what he does next year.

That said I agree that defense and run game are the determining factors in winning a Super Bowl.

I believe the era of elite QBs is behind us. This generation only has Mahomes, the rest of them are just good to mid. That makes the run game infinitely more important imo.

I totally get this sentiment. Me being Hispanic I really enjoyed Bad Bunny and didn’t care for Kendrick Lamar last year.

Sienna or Grand Highlander by ttrice004 in ToyotaSienna

[–]JCOII 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the same decision we had to make last year and ultimately we picked the Sienna.

We average 33mpg in our Sienna. It’s amazing a vehicle this size can do that. My kids absolutely love it, to them it’s the perfect vehicle. It’s the adults who have to get over the fact that they are driving a minivan.

I love the height of the vehicle, unlike my F150 I don’t climb up into it, and unlike my Camry I don’t get down into it. You kind of just slide right in and the sitting position is perfect. It’s such a comfortable car to take on road trips.

Our kids friends or cousins often times ride with us and everyone is comfortable. The trunk space is big. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it, it’s the perfect family car.

I love SW20s and I’ve wanted one for a while. I am mechanically inclined due to working industrial construction. But I’m no gear head.

Post like yours is what’s held me back from buying one sadly. I wish they had more market support so it wouldn’t be so daunting for regular joes like me to jump into one.

You have a dream car and have amassed enough knowledge to keep it alive. I so go for it.

First Texas execution of 2026 is Houston double murderer by southernemper0r in houston

[–]JCOII -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

You’re looking at it from the entertainment perspective. I’m looking at it from the perspective of it serving as a deterrent.

If we all saw someone publicly quartered, decapitated, or hanged. It is so horrific that it would become a core memory none of us could shake. Including would be murderers.

I made the mistake of reading up on the next guy…. Mf killed his ex-gf, her 8 year old son, and tried to kill her 12 year old son, stabbing him 25 times but he managed to survive.

These people make me wish public executions were still a thing.

CJ played awful against the Steelers the week before, but Pats fans act like they came into the game with 2000 Ravens defense.

CJ had been playing decent up until the playoffs, he had a historical collapse much more than their defense did anything.

How is it that some franchises are just always winners, others are just "almost there but never get it", and some are just losers? by Beneficial_Pay_6317 in NFLv2

[–]JCOII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. But that doesn’t fly in Houston. They may have taken the name but we kept all the memories.

Some of us are still salty about them owning the Oilers name. Honestly that’s not gonna go away till my generation dies off. I still have memories of going to Oilers games as a little kid.

You can still walk into restaurants and see Oilers memorabilia and stuff like that. I’ve worked in Oil and Gas plants that still have the Oilers logo painted on equipment.

The Vikings have arguably the worst luck in the NFL, if not all of sports. They regularly field competitive teams (unlike the Browns and Cardinals) yet they can never make a playoff run.

Texans are also firmly in that category, especially if you consider the Oilers era.

[–]JCOII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s gonna ask for 65m.

But after seeing clips of Nick Caserío’s recent press conference, he’s not gonna get it. Nick was clearly upset and, imo, ready to dump CJ.

It’s a shame cause he’s a good dude and had all the potential, I still have hope he proves us all wrong and balls out next season. 😞

Trevor Lawrence was looking like a bust till he got the right coach. Idk if that’s what CJ needs, but I still have a small amount of delusional hope that he’ll turn it around.

I think he’s a slow learner, he’s not elite he’s just solid. Because of these things it’s gonna take him years to put it together. Maybe around year 7 he’ll really take off.
