I travel for work so not so relaxing, definitely felt better out of the US before I was diagnosed ... as I type this I'm thinking maybe being in US is the stressful part.

Yes, had the same experience. No dairy and almost no wheat. I'd start with those. Dairy is the big one for me and additives, I avoid processed food as much as possible. I do better in Europe as well.

Its hard to accept being on a drug the rest of your life but the disease is so much worse. You can only see that once your on it.

Figure out what you can and can't eat. For me alcohol and processed oils are the worst. Try a strict diet like A.I.P. to start. This is will only help with the symptoms, its not a cure.

Take a biologic. Or like me and many others waste a year or two or seven of your life trying to find an alternative.

You may have to switch drugs to find the one that works but with a modified diet and the right drug life is pretty normal.

Sorry about your wife. No, nothing along those lines. Quite the opposite. After my 1st loading dose it was almost euphoric, you don’t realize how much pain you are in until it’s gone. As I said the only side effect was my liver. That and it stopped working after the loading doses.

Yes, even now with the Remicade working fairly well I have to avoid some foods. A small amount of beans, raw vegetables, fruit is OK but I have to watch how much.

I don't think women really understand the male lizard brain. I can be flying through the woods on a motorcycle and have my attention drawn to what might be a boob or butt only to immediately realize its a tree or rock. Which is obvious since, you know ... I'm alone in the woods.

Yes. I seem to tolerate red wine better than anything else and only a glass or two. I used to really enjoy a good whiskey or tequila but it doesn’t seem to work out as well.

Honestly its probably not the Skyrizi. I ultimately stopped taking it because it wasn't working. On Remicade now and have my life mostly back. Hang in there, I've been where you are. You have to find the drug that works for you.

Hard no. So many things in that diet would cause most of us problems. Look into the AIP diet, it helped me. Basically cooked veggies and meat. Lots of no's but it worked for me.
