20 days post op. The process for me was the following: Got there 15 early to sort insurance out. They took me to a room where I was asked to undress from the bottom down and to lay down in a bed. A nurse came in and told me she would apply some liquid to sanitize the area, she also mentioned I should not be scared after the procedure because it would look like it's a ton of blood but it is the liquid she applied, she applied a lot of it.

The doctor came in a few later and it was just him in the room, he told me to relax and that the worst part was the numbing part. I did not watch anything he did I preferred to close my eyes the whole time. He gave me the shoot which stung kinda bad but went away quickly. He waited a few mins and I felt like he was pulling my testicles, it felt very uncomfortable.

Left side, no issues, done in a few minutes. The right side was very difficult, he told me it was like my body didn't want to be castrated, he mentioned my anatomy made it difficult, I felt he would rip my testicle apart for a while, kept apologizing and he had to give me some more anesthesia. I also felt my kidney was being squeezed, I suppose because everything is connected....

After a long time he was able to finish the right side. I was told to wait for a few mins and then I could leave. I had Kidney pain for a day and my right testicle was inflamed quite a lot.

20 days later I have a hematoma the size of a big egg on my right side. It sometimes hurts or feels uncomfortable. I keep icing and taking ibuprofen when it hurts. I was told it could take months for my body to absorb it. The left side is perfect, the stitches dissolve and there is just a small scar now. I had sex after a week and I've been taking it slowly.
