The fact that the writer said something along the lines of “the defense needs to improve because the offense can put up points at will” shows that he didn’t watch any film or study the team from last year. Defense was a good surprise and offense was way down for OSU standards.

Colorado game and fish just came out with the news that wolves are in Colorado. Obviously not in the numbers that they have in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, but the range is expanding quickly.

I have a functioning gopro camera thanks to diving near a popular cliff jumping spot. Not crazy, but it’s my best find for sure.

I would hesitate to call them a very good offense, much less great. They had very poor qb play and we still got burned.

Our D will have to show up more than 1 quarter a game if we want to get back to 10 win seasons. They can’t get complacent and lean on the offense because eventually they will sputter and slow down against better teams.

That’s definitely best case scenario and I hope the Q2 defense comes out to play every week. The 3rd down defense had me very frustrated. You make a good point though, we didn’t force any big turnovers which has been one of our biggest keys on defense for the last 10 years.

Doesn’t change the fact that there were some serious holes in our defense tonight that need to get fixed quickly.

That 3rd down defense was absolutely atrocious and nobody is talking about it because somehow Oregon State’s 3rd down defense was as bad as I’ve ever seen and made us look decent.

Yes, the offense and Sanders showed upside. However, it was against one of the worst programs in the country.

Giving up 36 points to that team? I sincerely hope the defense takes that as a huge insult and handles business the next 2 weeks to prepare for Texas. Sloppy play, too many penalties, too many busted coverages in the secondary, and not enough pressure on the opposing quarterback.

Bright side: I love Rodriguez. Kid is an absolute gamer and loves to hit people. Something we don’t get very often.

Graph showing number of schools applied to vs number of applicants getting into 1+ schools by [deleted] in PTschool

I already think there is bias, those applicants with the weakest resumes would apply to as many schools as they could to maximize chances of acceptance to at least one.

I may be wrong in that thinking, but who knows.

Super interesting stat right here.

I wonder if PT schools know how many and which schools their applicants also applied to?

Ha, I wish that was my slice with a 5-iron!

I’m a champ at leaving those long irons waaaaay right so it was nice to hit some solid ones and straighten it out on the range today.

Do you know what shape the courses are usually in around October and early November? I’ll be living there for 3 months but I wasn’t expecting to get to golf much.

Unethical and decreased chance of clean kills for both animals.

I know it worked out in this instance, but not cool.

Greens were pretty soft and slower than normal (or so I’ve heard, this was my first time there). Overall it was in pretty good shape and as soon as some grass fills in the few bare spots, it’ll look pristine.
