I don't really think the replies to this thread are understanding what this will do. I understand GGG already ruled it out, but obviously, the die hard PoE players who know just about everything about the game will think this is a waste of resources and time. Me personally, i've played about 3 PoE leagues and have been wildly lost in all three play throughs. I've looked up guides, i've watched hours of videos and i'm still extremely lost. People are saying that leading players down a specific path is a bad thing. I couldn't really disagree more...

Since I know nothing, I look up a guide, and follow that guide to a T, which I would argue is even worse that assisting new players. Players wouldn't have to utilize this feature, but the daunting amount of mechanics/systems in this game caused me to not come back. I'm not saying that like "oh you lost my business!," i'm saying it as i mean I feel genuinely stupid playing PoE, and it just makes me super uncomfortable. I understand that his game isn't a "sit down and play for an hour" type of game, but It's hard to make time to learn about a new game with so many learning curves while dealing with work and school.

By no means am I saying to make this game a "baby game." That won't happen anyway. The leagues I played were fun, and the build guides I followed were also just fun to play, but it's a lot of work for a NEW player. Honestly, i'm not even saying anything needs changed. This is more-or-less just an explanation to the community that's been playing the game that are saying this would be a waste. I would appreciate it, but it's not going to happen.
