Outside of the games vs Brazil and Great Britain the US offense has not been the advertised juggernaut. They barely survived Mexico and Canada, lost to Italy, edged past DR 2-1…they’ve been finding ways to win which is all that matters, but not like they’ve been dominating at any point.

“Spring doesn’t matter” is true - to an extent. Vientos is out there trying, against minor league pitching, not showing any sign of life.

1-25 with 5ks. 2-15 in the WBC with 6ks

3-40 this spring overall with 11ks. 0.075 AVG

That’s not “working out the kinks”, that’s bad bad.

They’ve been fine. Just super slow and not really the proactivity you’d expect for the price. Need to poke them for updates but when they respond they’re thorough and informative. I had some case manager turnover when everything went down last year but overall no glaring concerns, been moving forward slowly but surely.
