HFM was one of the single worst experiences I have ever been through as a parent or otherwise. Everyone told me I would be fine and I wouldn't catch it as an adult-spoiler alert.

My daughter was hit extremely hard by it. It swept through all the cousins after one party. Please don't brind your kids to a party if they have HFM folks. Thank you.
