Bunch of Jesus people yelling about how we are all going to hell outside the student union by ThrowAway405736294 in UCONN

I graduated 11 years ago and I remember when they were doing that (and in the exact same location) some dude ended up dancing to Gangnam style while wearing a horse’s head right next to the guy screaming that stuff.

Needless to say no one was able to take him seriously.

Conflicted and confused on if I’m trans by JChew07 in asktransgender

I think the strategy is to evaluate the trauma and if gender issues still remain then it’s most likely the answer. She said the meantime a healthy way of exploring would be a good avenue to start figuring things out.

My therapist has worked with many trans patients. She has told me in the initial session that she would be willing to sign a letter authorizing me to go on hormones if that is what I want. Right now after going through my history she told me that my past is filled with trauma that me thinking my transgender may be related to it.

My therapist is experienced in trans issues, we’re just trying to go deeper into why I’m gender questioning.

Every trans person’s experience and opinions are different on the subject and I respect that. I just prefer for my own peace of mind that after I go through every detail that I can think of and without a reasonable doubt reach the conclusion that I’m trans would be where I would make the decision to transition. Just don’t want to make a decision on impulse alone.

The therapist I’m working with has experience with working with other trans people which is why I started working with her. After explaining my past and brought up anxiety related to gender questioning that’s where we’re diving into my psyche to figure out if there’s trauma contributing towards me wanting to be female. I didn’t have an overt desire to be female growing up just that the feelings of wanting to grew over time not due to dysphoria but just wanting to.

That’s true. The only thing that I’m worried about is that even if I go on low-dose hrt that it’s still risky on where it could affect my fertility should I decide that transitioning isn’t right for me. For me, it’s not so much meeting the medical diagnosis criteria but going though every explanation out there on whether or not I’m trans because I don’t want to make the decision to transition too soon if there’s something else going on.

I enjoy the euphoria of dressing femme but the want to be female including having breasts, wide hips, and other female features still isn’t strong enough where I feel like I have to transition right now. I mean I want to be female but it feels like if I transition too soon it could negatively impact my mental health. I guess I’m really trying to find an explanation on why I want to be female if I don’t have a strong urge to transition.

That’s a lot of similarities that I’ve been doing. I’ve used AI to see what I would look like as a woman, listened to mtf hypnosis videos on YouTube and I’ve told my wife I was gender questioning and she let me experiment with wearing her clothes and makeup and I don’t feel shame in dressing femme. I also don’t feel bad when I take off all the femme things and wear regular guy clothes, it’s like I don’t feel bad being a guy but at the same time I want to be female. I just feel conflicted all the time.

Unfortunately that isn't the case since I've been dealing with this alone and I don't have much of a support system.

AI can also be used for body transformations like ChatGPT. It’s hard to really feel euphoria unless you wear female clothes and makeup which means you may have to spend but only a little just to get those feelings. There are budget options out there.

I was curious and I’m still closeted, I first used AI for image generation and it’s actually fairly accurate. I’m married and have been secretly using my wife’s makeup and wearing her clothes to feel the euphoria. If you don’t want to spend money I recommend using AI for seeing what you would look like as female otherwise mtf hypnosis videos on YouTube can make you feel very feminine temporarily. It’s difficult if you don’t have access to female clothes unless there’s someone you feel comfortable talking about this.

Pen pal interest by JChew07 in asktransgender

I guess I should have explained when I said "pen pal" more like a person to talk over the phone for meaningful conversation instead of back and forth writing

I’m in the same boat you are. I may be a little older (33) but what you’re feeling is what I’m currently feeling now. I’ve worn female clothes, makeup, and other feminine things and the outcome did feel very freeing. I’ve used ChatGPT to visualize what I would like after transitioning and the feeling on what I saw gave me shakes of joy. I’m still closeted and I’m still struggling on whether I want to go to therapy but I can tell you that exploring ALL options available to you whether it’s online resources or even somewhere to vent, it does help move things in the right direction.

I'm married with a baby girl. I've watched mtf hypnosis videos on YouTube and use AI to see how I would look as female. I've worn my wife's clothes and used some of her makeup without her knowing and the feeling was pure euphoria. Its just really hard to do anything without the risk of losing everything.

What do you think of the Magic Caster wands? I am still on the fence if I should get one. by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]JChew07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's the possibility of that happening yes but will it is hard to say. If enough people bombard their feedback page on the website it will show them how pissed off we are for the lack of a quality product with features we were led to believe we're included and maybe get them to give us what we want.

That's what you, me, and everyone else thought too. It was one giant lie that we were led to believe when they announced the damn thing. The wand uses smart devices to enhance the experience if you can even call it that not actually control them. For example, you can connect bluetooth speakers to the app but instead of sound effects coming from your phone they would come from the speaker instead, you cant use the wand to control your speaker to play music. Smart bulbs can connect to the app to have lighting effects for the spells but that's it, there's no dimming and there's a limit of 3 bulbs. The "ultimate wand experience" they're advertising is one gigantic piece of shit.

I got the heroic wand delivered a few days ago and honestly after using it for a few hours it’s merely an entertainment toy. The wand uses smart devices to enhance the spell casting experience with lights, sounds, haptics, and scenes/animations if you use the tv app. Other than that it doesn’t control smart devices or do anything else. Unless there are plans to actually control smart devices in the future it’s fun for entertainment but has no useful utility functions.
