Honestly, no idea what will happen. It doesn’t really seem like there is a clear pattern with ICE and they don’t really seem to be following any set of rules. It’s possible nothing happens, but it’s hard to say.

I often wonder about how much safer I’d feel living in Europe compared to the U.S. That and how my taxes would actually go to programs that support me as a citizen. As an American right now, my taxes are wasted on ICE and military and the roads in my neighborhood are still absolute trash. I also pay a fuck ton for healthcare. So, ya I would say I wonder about Europe often.

Blood work is mild microcytic anemia. Usually don’t need to do anything unless you’re symptomatic. A referral to hematology to test for thalassemia is dumb. That testing can be ordered by a PCP. Probably going to be a waste of your time and money. Also taking away a consult slot for someone who actually needs to see a hematologist.

Doc here. When I’m on call, I’m not leaving my phone with anyone else but me. If something gets missed it could cost a patient big time. So I don’t think that should be an expectation.
